During the 2015-2017 school year, students in the 8th grade Agri-Leadership class had the opportunity to redesign the animal learning center space. New upgrades included the addition of a sink and floor drain; two items that may seem minimal, but have a huge impact on the daily operations of the animal learning center. The space is located to the back of the classroom area. It has three windows so students may view the animals from the outside. This also allows students with animal allergies to still feel connected to the space. Inside, you will find systems for raising rabbits, guinea pigs, livestock, and poultry hatching. In the future, there will also be lab stations in the animal learning center to make the space feel as though you are working in a veterinary clinic. This will include examination tables and x-ray viewing stations.
