In 2016 the facilities were remodeled. The current agriscience classroom space used to be the agriculture shop. 50 years ago the space was used for fixing tractors and implements and now is used for scientific investigations. The classroom is large enough for us to be flexible in setting up for a lecture format or lab groups. Upgrades included a refrigerator, stainless steel sinks, dishwasher, electrical drops, and an epoxy flooring.

We have an antique display of classroom supplies that were used in the earlier years of our agriculture education program. You will also find enclosed in cases the jackets of 1939-1940 National FFA President from Prairie du Sac, Ivan Kindschi. You will also find an old FFA jacket from the Prairie du Sac FFA Chapter. Prior to 1964, there were two separate schools each having their own FFA Chapters; Sauk City FFA & Prairie du Sac FFA.

As a memorial to Matt Anderson, 2005-2006 State Sentinel and 2006-2007 State President, the Sauk Prairie FFA members decided to construct a display for past state officers from our chapter. The five most recent jackets are permanently on display along with a plaque including all former state officers from our chapter. Matt passed away in the fall of 2007 as a result of a farming accident.

Ivan H. Kindschi was the National FFA President in 1939-1940, and was from the Prairie du Sac FFA Chapter. You will find his original jacket from his year of service in the classroom.
